Future Electronics & Microsemi Offer a Training Seminar for Designing with New FPGA Development Kits
Pointe Claire, Quebec (bizpr) October 14, 2016 – Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, and Microsemi Corporation have announced a series of free seminars throughout October and November, focusing on Microsemi’s easy to learn Libero SoC Design Suite.
The one-day hands-on workshops are based on Microsemi’s leading-edge IGLOO™2 field programmable gate array (FPGA) and SmartFusion™2 system-on-chip (SoC) FPGA technologies, highlighting the benefits of Future’s newly available Microsemi IGLOO2 and SmartFusion2 Creative Development Kit.
Participants will learn about the many benefits of Microsemi’s Libero SoC Design Suite, a comprehensive, easy to learn, easy to adopt development toolset for designing with Microsemi’s power-efficient FPGAs and SoC FPGAs. Attendees will receive a complimentary Creative Development Kit from Future Electronics to enable the development of their own SoC designs.
These workshops will show attendees how to adopt Microsemi’s easy-to-use FPGA technology in order to replace typical platforms currently being used. The tutorial will also explore how Microsemi’s devices offer more resources in low density FPGAs at the lowest power, with exceptional reliability and proven security.
“We are very excited to collaborate with Microsemi on this first series of workshops to promote the Future Electronics – Microsemi Creative Development Board featuring Microsemi’s IGLOO2 FPGA and SmartFusion2 SoC technology,” said Karim Yasmine, Corporate Vice President at Future Electronics. “In the next couple of months, the tour will take us to 8 major cities in the Americas, with many more planned for the beginning of 2017.”
